We’re currently finalizing the assembly of APOLLO, the Filament Winding machine developed by Gruppo Esea for the production of hashtag#composite tanks and structural components.

APOLLO is our dedicated Filament Winding platform, developed within Gruppo Esea’s ecosystem of composite technologies, which also includes the POSEIDONE Tow Preg line and the EFESTO AFP machine.
It is designed to ensure process control, repeatability and lay-up quality, thanks to accurate control of winding angle and fibre tension, 5 motion axes and an advanced deposition end-effector.
Starting from this standard platform, we develop all the customer-specific customizations: machine configuration, automation level, process logic and integration with existing systems.
Our technologies – including APOLLO– are installed and fully operational in our in-house R&D laboratory, where it is possible to test materials, fine-tune process parameters and directly validate the winding process.
